Celebrating 20 Years of Friendship with Wolchon Village

On November 28, KIHASA visited Wolchon Village in Sotaemyeon, Chungju City, to celebrate the 20^th anniversary of the institute’s ‘One Company-One Village’ sisterhood partnership with the village. Around 20 members of staff, including Administrative Director Cho Nam-Joo, joined the event to mark the occasion. The program included the presentation of plaques of appreciation and merit, a congratulatory performance, and a commemorative video highlighting the partnership’s 20-year history.

KIHASA established its ties with Wolchon Village two decades ago as part of the ‘One Company-One Village Rural Love Movement’ initiative. Since then, the institute and the village have enjoyed a friendly relationship, with KIHASA lending a hand during busy farming seasons and making year-end donations towards the village’s development.
