On September 5, KIHASA and Japan's National Institute of Population and Social Security Research (IPSS) held the "Korea-Japan Social Policy Forum" at KIHASA's Sejong office. The forum was divided into three sections, focusing on demographic trends, assisted reproductive technology, and elderly care, featuring a total of eight presentations and panel discussions, all with simultaneous interpretation. The Korea-Japan Social Policy Forum, which began in 2017, was suspended from 2020 to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed last year, with this year's event, held in Sejong, marking its fifth gathering.
